Hey guys! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while - things have been a bit hectic! I've been gigging a lot, which is great, and I've also got involved in something called Total Popstar, which is a little bit like PopVideoStar but the winner gets a $100,000 recording contract and an album launch and everything, which is really exciting.
If you live in America, please just get out your cellphone and text "pop1016" to 90430. Thanks! I need 1000 votes to reach the finals, then things will start getting really exciting - so this is pretty cool!
As far as other things go - well, I'm working on some original material at the moment, as well as hopefully sometime getting into the recording studio to really work through things and get something out there for you guys to buy and put on your iPod. Well...hopefully! ;-)

So much has happened since I first started posting on You Tube, but winning PopVideoStar has been the highlight of my year...so first off I'd like to thank everyone who voted for me, I hope you enjoy this fantastic website, created by Bryan and his amazing team! ;-)

For those of you who missed the whole saga, my name is Kitty Brucknell. I'm the winner of the 2nd season of PopVideoStar, which is basically an online version of American Idol. Hundreds audition, and the audience votes for their favourite every week until a winner is announced. I was so nervous throughout the entire compeition because I never knew what was happening - then suddenly I was in the top 4 and after letting everyone know on YouTube - my votes came storming in! I was so humbled by everyone who spent so much time voting for me, and I hope this is the start of things to come ;-)
